Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Iota Delta Chapter, welcomes you to our website. As the oldest undergraduate chapter in the  Milwaukee area, chartered Wednesday, July 21, 1974, we have a long legacy in Milwaukee of providing “Service to All Mankind.” At UW-Milwaukee we are committed to addressing the needs of our campus and the Milwaukee community, and serving as role models for girls and young women. We hope that this website provides you with any and all information to learn more about us and how to support our programs and service events.

OUR MISSION

Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission is to cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, to promote unity and friendship among college women, to study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to improve their social stature, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, and to be of “Service to All Mankind.”
