We meet every week to talk markets, hear stock pitches, and vote on what goes in the portfolio. No finance background required — just show up. The first meeting of Fall 2026 is 09/14.

What we do

The SIC is open to any UWM student who's curious about finance and investments. A typical meeting may include an update on the portfolio, sector presentations, guest speakers, a stock pitch, or a combination.

Many members are Lubar students, but plenty aren't. If you want to make a case for a stock, or learn how, you'd be a great fit.
