Lasagna Love is offering availability for chapters to use them for your fall philanthropy and service project efforts. They are a kindness and connection movement in which volunteers cook homemade lasagna and hand-deliver it to neighbors who ask for them, no questions asked, no application, and no means test. Right now 40 neighbors in Milwaukee County have asked for a homemade meal and are still waiting to be matched with someone who can cook one.
The whole commitment is one afternoon. Members cook together, in one kitchen or spread across a few. They send the recipe and prep guidance ahead of time, and they match each meal to a neighbor near UWM who requested one, and members would hand-deliver these meals locally. All work counts toward volunteer hour requirements, and require no permit, no venue, no fundraising minimum, and would work alongside your chapter's national philanthropy rather than replacing it.
